City Council Meeting
This city council meeting turned into a tribute to Mayor Clavelle. It started with Joe McNeil and Michael Monte both praising their own efforts and Clavelle’s efforts in forcing the railroad to give up the waterfront for only $1.4 million when even they believed it was worth far more than that or even the $10 million the railroad wanted.

Yard Sign Problems
Friday’s strong winds made it very difficult for campaign yard signs. To be on the safe side, Heavenly went out to gather most of the signs so that they wouldn’t be blown all over the streets, sidewalks, and people’s yards. There were put up again today.

At tonight’s city council meeting, the Department of Health started early conversations with the city to replace the State Hospital in Waterbury with a proposed facility at FAHC.
