Hope everyone has been enjoying summer. Heavenly and I have been doing our best to get out as much as possible, which has left little to know time for me to keep this blog up to date.
It seems to me that when the people say they want affordable housing they really mean housing that’s affordable which is a home or apartment where they can live that is within their financial means.
As I’ve blogged previously, I’m been working on losing a few pounds by low carb dieting. I just recently lost my 25th pound in 7 weeks and 2 days! I am so thrilled with my progress even though I still have a lot more work to do to reach my ultimate goal of losing about 60 pounds total.
Over the last week the stock market had quite a pull back followed by a small rise at the end of the week.
As you may know, the federal minimum wage will increase from $5.15 to $5.85/hour, which is a 70-cent raise. This will happen again in 2008 and 2009, which by the end will make the new federal minimum wage $7.25/hour by the end of 2009
Goldman Sachs has created their own private trading system called Goldman Sachs Tradable Unregistered Equity system or GSTRuE to compete with the pubic trading system.
I previously posted about my seeking to lose a few pounds by going back on a low carb diet. It’s been 4 weeks now and I’ve lost a total of 17 pounds now!
I’ve recently came across these two new websites/services and have enjoyed them both very much. I thought I would share them with you.
With the Dow, Nasdaq and S&P 500 all hitting new highs on a regular basis, I’m starting to get more defensive in my investing.
