Prospective Libertarian Candidates
Hardy Machia, our state party chair, has been working very hard to find good Libertarian candidates to run this year for Vermont state house. The goal is to get 10, he has already found 8 interested candidates. Good job!

Leclair Family Gathering
Saturday, Heavenly and I went to large family gathering of my mom’s side of the family… I would say about 30 people, many I haven’t seen in quite a while, including family from Texas. A couple cousins actually live quite close… one cousin lives about 5 minutes away from my place and I never realized it.

Our Four Year Anniversary!
Yesterday, Heavenly and I celebrated our 4th anniversary. To celebrate we took most of the day off to spend the day together. We went out to eat at The Orchid, one of our favorite places to eat. As usual we ate more than we should have, as it’s easy to do there as there’s always a great selection and you want to try everything!

Porcfest 2006 – Free State Project
Heavenly and I went to porfest opening weekend. Porcfest is a year event in New Hampshire where liberty-minded people from all over the world gather to talk, celebrate Free State Project accomplishments, here from liberty-minded speakers, and explore the possibility of joining the free state project.

Burlington Taxpayer’s Revolt
The Taxypayer’s Revolt was quite successfull. city Hall was packed with people eager to speak. It was one of the longest public forums I’ve seen ranking up there with the smoking ban in private clubs and the water fluoridation speakouts.

Vermont Speaks Up! Rally to Stop the Genocide in Darfur
Heavenly and I attended part of the Rally to Stop the Genocide in Darfur that was held in city Hall Park on Sunday. It started with Afircan Dancing and Drumming and then a survivor of the Holocaust and a survivor of the Bosnian Genocide spoke about their experiences and the need to do something about the current situation in Darfur.
