Vermont Trans Fat Ban Proposed
Vermont could follow in New York City’s footsteps in passing legislation that would ban restaurants and other eateries from preparing and serving food that contains trans fats.

Rob Roper Elected Chair of VT GOP
Congratuations to Rob Roper for winning the election! I’m hoping that he uses the seat to continue to push for more fiscal responsibility with government budgets as I believe this is the single biggest issue facing the state. The fact is our local and state budgets are unsunstainable.

UVM Students Save the Ice Sculpture Contest
A big congrats to Gregory’s class for succeeding where the city couldn’t. I thought it should be possible to still have the event without taxpayer’s money. You would think that with all the connections the city officials and CEDO have, they should have easily been able to find the sponsors to pick up the tab.
