Since today is MLK day remember is was government that brought us southern discrimination. Laws passed by government cause & encouraged segregation. Police & Army enforced it. Agencies of government used fire hoses, dogs, tear gas & clubs. No free market choice showed economic benefit to segregate. Those that chose to integrate received the full wrath of law enforcement.
