Today the Burlington Libertarian Party held a meeting to select candidates for Justice of the Peace. We met at Manhattan Pizza and had a good turnout of about 8 people. We nominated two candidates, Jonathan Stauffer and Robert Bussiere. Good luck and thank you both for running!
Running for JP is one of the easiest ways for one to run for office and get their name out there. The term is for 2 years and not much is required to run… simply reigster and then tell people you know that you are running. With a little campaigning one could stand to do quite well as there are 15 seats open.
