Ballot Item Scare Tactics
In reviewing the results of the ballot items I was reflecting on how some of them passed. It occurs to me that many of the items passed due to really good scare campaigns.

Help Burlington Fire Victims
As you may have heard, the Dutra family suffered a major loss due to a fire in their home. I saw in todays paper how Waggy’s has been accepting donations.
Sign Wave Today!
We had another sign wave today. It was cold at 1 degree, but we were encouraged to push on through the cold and wind as many people waved back and honked their horns.
Yard Sign Problems
Friday’s strong winds made it very difficult for campaign yard signs. To be on the safe side, Heavenly went out to gather most of the signs so that they wouldn’t be blown all over the streets, sidewalks, and people’s yards. There were put up again today.

Livable Wage Campaign Survey Responses
The Peace and Justice Center sent all candidates a survey of how they feel about livable wage polices. The had two questions and we had to keep our answers to 75 words or less. I am posting the questions and my responses below…
Meet the Candidates at Heineburg Senior Housing
The residents of Heineburg Senior Housing had invited some candidates to meet with them and so they could discuss the issues with us, hear what we have to say and to give them more information on making their decision on town meeting day.
