⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I tested the Hibloks Tech 18 watt battery pack on a new Meta Quest 3, hoping it would keep up and maintain a full charge of the internal battery during intense gameplay—and it does, whereas many other battery pack solutions do not.
I love how versatile it is; it can be attached to any strap or headstrap. The buzzing noise could be annoying to some, but it wasn’t a problem for me.
It’s definitely better to install it on the top rather than on the side strap for more comfort, and of course, this reduces how much of the buzzing you would hear.
With active gameplay, you get about 1-1.5 hours of play from the battery pack. When I tested the battery, I played a combination of Gravity League (25% of the time), Moonrider in the Quest browser—similar to Beat Saber (25% of the time)—and Population: One (50% of the time).
It will also keep the Meta Quest functional when the internal battery is completely dead.
