Jeremy Ryan Announces Run for Burlington City Council
Jeremy Ryan announced he is running for city council here in ward 7 of Burlington. He chose to run because he would like to help make some much needed changes to how the city government does business.

Zoning Rewrite Public Forum
There was a presentation and question/ answer period regarding the zoning rewrite.

Campaign Meeting
We held our first campaign meeting this Sunday and I think it went well. The attendance was better than expected. A big thank you for everyone who came and thank you very much for you help!

Exposure of Burlington Children to Violent Acts Resolution
This was a resolution presented by Councilor George at the last city council meeting asking for the city to provide some way of warning parents of events held on city property that may not be suitable for children.

UVM Solves City’s Budget Problems?
During the public forums at the last city council meeting, Ron Rualt, a Burlington resident, spoke up regarding the city’s budget.

School Board Public Forum on Community Schools
Public discussion regarding the proposed closing of Barnes school.

City Council Meeting
The big topic tonight was the southern connector. To continue or not to continue was the question.

Tonight, Heavenly and I attended the Public Hearing on Housing in Burlington at C.P. Smith School. The turnout was quite good. However, the number of people speaking up was minimal.
