Weapons Movie Summary (No Spoilers):
A class of third-graders vanishes one night, leaving one boy behind. At 2:17am they all wake up, leave their homes and never come back.
Their teacher, Justine Gandy, becomes the main suspect for many of the parents as the town searches for answers. The story is told from all the characters viewpoints showing how they are all connected in one way or another and revealing parts of what happened to a point where everything is revealed, then leading to the resolution.
Weapons is a good watch, it was gripping and had you trying to put the pieces together as the story untold. It’s a slow burn type of movie like The Night House, Midsommar, or Hereditary.
Weapons is a folk horror mystery that gives some answers and leaves others open.
